Samaya BASECAMP 8K assembly guide

The Samaya BASECAMP 8K will allow you to combine comfort and serenity in extreme conditions. Its geodesic structure and its 7 crossings of arches offer exceptional safety in the face of the most violent winds. Designed for four people, this base camp tent will provide you with the recovery rest essential to the success of your expeditions.

STEP 1: Find a safe place and make sure it's flat.

STEP 2: Install the various poles and unfold the tent.

STEP 3: Insert the red poles into the corresponding sleeves.

STEP 4: Insert the "Lock Tips" of the poles into the nearest eyelet.

STEP 5: Insert the gray poles into the corresponding sleeves.

The black round end goes in first.

STEP 6: Insert the "Lock Tips" of the poles into the nearest eyelet.

STEP 7: Insert the bronze pole to form the vestibule and insert the "Lock Tip" into the second eyelet.

STEP 8: Tighten the adjusters by pulling on the strap.

STEP 9: Anchor the tent to the ground using dead bodies.


STEP 10: Fill snow skirts to ensure maximum anchorage.


STEP 11: Complete the anchorage by hooking the dead bodies to the guy lines and adjusting on the adjusters.


STEP 12: Dig a cold pit in the front vestibule and enjoy your stay!
